Save the Date…
Two authors made a big impression on me during their Houston appearances. Best selling novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford was charming, witty and quite entertaining during her Houston stops on behalf of Taping for the Blind and the Women ’s Health Summit. And former Houston Ballet principal dancer Li Cunxin traveled from Australia to talk about his memoir and film about his life Mao’s Last Dancer. Li’s courageous story of how he seized an opportunity to escape desperate poverty and achieve freedom is uplifting and inspiring. Read the book —anticipate the movie!
